Ryan Gembala joined E.J. Leizerman & Associates as an associate attorney practicing in the railroad section in 2005.  Ryan has represented numerous injured railroaders bringing claims against the railroad pursuant to the Federal Employers’ Liability Act, the Locomotive Inspection Act, and the Safety Appliance Act.  Ryan’s efforts have helped his clients obtain million dollar jury verdicts and settlements of their injury claims.  In addition to railroad workers, Ryan has successfully represented members of the public in class action lawsuits against the railroad arising from chemical spills in Painesville, Ohio and Graniteville, South Carolina, which caused sever injury, death, and property damage.
